The Insurance Run-Offs Newsletter, published at least twenty times each year, offers the most comprehensive information resource on insurers and reinsurers (worldwide) that have ceased actively underwriting.

Our own research has identified more than 2,500 insurers that have ceased underwriting over the last twenty years and we track the status of these insurers who are running off their past liabilities. There is a heavy emphasis on statistics, comparing the financial status of insurers, looking at their potential reinsurance collections, identifying bad-debt issues and reporting on commutations. Much of what we publish is unique to this journal.

A particular feature of the Insurance Run-Offs Newsletter is news and commentary on asbestos, asbestosis, environmental and other toxic torts which are often associated with insurers and reinsurers in long-term run-off.
